What to expect

The Castel Sant'Angelo was commissioned by Emperor Hadrian in (123–139 AD)has a mausoleum for himself and his family. The castle was later used by popes as their fortress, private residence and prison and now is a museum. With our tour, you'll know the changes of this building throughout the centuries and the magnificence of art enclose, the emperor’s burial place, the papal apartments, and much more. From the terrace, you will also enjoy one of the best views of Rome!

Difficulty

The tour is recommended for adults and families with children. It is not recommended for the elderly with walking difficulties due to long-standing period, people with disabilities and wheelchair users.
